She had artist dreams as a kid and now she is living her dream, creating painterly fine art portraits for everyday people.

Martina Wärenfeldt is a Swedish portrait photographer who started out by taking photography classes at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles. After finishing her degree, she moved back to her home city Vaxjo, Sweden to establish her business. Now she is a veteran with 26 years as a fulltime photographer and studio owner.

Martina is a multiple award winning photographer, both nationally and internationally, with over one hundred awards to date, mostly for her creative portraits, but also for fashion.

She earned the title Swedish Master of Photography in 2019 and in spring of 2020, she was voted Portrait Photographer of the Year in Sweden for the third consecutive year.

She is Overall Portrait winner at SWPP 16x20 print comp in London, in both 2020 and 2022, and in 2021 she was awarded Fashion Photographer of the Year by SWPP.

Martina is Master of WPPI with several top three awards to her name, and also the winner of The Golden Camera in Portrait category 2020 (Federation of European Photographers)

Martina has been a presenter and workshop leader in Sweden, Finland, Norway, USA and England. She has judged the national photography awards in Norway, Finland and her native Sweden.

She is now a Fellow and a junior judge with SWPP (the Societies of Photographers), judging their 16x20 print comp.

Martina is a Canon Nordic Photographer.
